Cheryl Flannery is Senior Director, Cloud, Security, IOT and Infrastructure Architecture Practice Lead at Pfizer. She is responsible for technical direction, guidance, and solution architectures that most effectively deliver the global business strategy. Cheryl has over 15 years of information security and risk experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, consumer products and manufacturing including CISO responsibilities. Her prior experience also includes IT strategic planning, portfolio and program management, ERP program lead, global application development head, and IT chief of staff. She holds CISSP and PMP certifications.

About Bill Thornton
William (Bill) Thornton is the Vice President of Information Risk Technology at Discover Financial Services (DFS), reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer. Additionally, Bill is responsible for Business Continuity and Crisis Management for DFS.Prior to joining DFS, Bill spent nearly 5 years with E*TRADE as the VP of cybersecurity. Bill is a retired USAF officer (Brigadier General) and test pilot. He led a Test Group, Test Wing (Edwards AFB) and in his last position, was the Director of Operations (COO) for Air, Space and Cyber. Bill was also selected an appointed by the President as a White House Fellow in 2002.

David L. Schwed is an accomplished and results-driven cybersecurity and information technology executive and entrepreneur with broad based expertise leading organizational IT strategy, high-visibility projects and programs, and skilled technical teams, with experience gained supporting and growing business in a Fortune 200 environment. David is currently the Chief Information Officer for RTI Cable, a leading independent undersea cable owner providing large-scale network solutions across a wide variety of industries including cloud companies, network operators, regional carriers, global enterprises, content providers and institutions for higher learning. He also served as the chief architect of a full service digital assets merchant bank’s information security program, defining and revising all policies, procedures, and best practices. He’s been the primary researcher at a global fortune 200 financial services company for geopolitical threats, focusing on attacks originating from high risk regions; collected and compiled findings into reports providing insight and guidance to stakeholders on threats impacting the financial services industry. He also launched and managed a telecommunications network management company to reach $27MM in annual revenue, leading to an acquisition by Windstream Holdings in 2018. Relevant work experience includes tenures at Citigroup, Merrill Lynch, BNY Mellon, Marsh, MASS Communications, and Galaxy Digital.
