Description

  • Located in a regional area with a hybrid work model requiring onsite presence three days a week.
  • Contract position with a focus on data engineering and metadata management.
  • Responsible for bridging business language and database structures using generic technology tools.
  • Involves deep data analysis and SQL work.
  • Collaborates with architects and engineers to ensure accurate data mappings.
  • Engages in testing and validation of SQL queries and data mappings.
  • Requires strong analytical skills and experience with database management systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and define business terms and concepts from various documents.
  • Analyze data structures to support business terminology.
  • Create precise mappings from business terms to database structures.
  • Support the development of a semantic layer for data interpretation.
  • Test and validate SQL queries against expected data structures.

Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience in data engineering, metadata management, or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with database metadata.
  • Strong skills in SQL and intermediate programming abilities.
  • Experience with business documentation and data dictionaries.
  • Familiarity with natural language processing and semantic modeling.
