Application Programmer – Jersey City, NJ | Plano, TX | Charlotte, NC – Contract – $68-75 per HR

Description

This role is part of a technology team supporting Capital Management in a corporate setting, with a focus on regulatory compliance and technology transformation. The position is a contract role with a hybrid work schedule, requiring a minimum of three days onsite per week in one of the specified locations. The candidate will work on a greenfield project, replacing legacy applications and ensuring adherence to regulations using advanced data and analytics technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement solutions to replace legacy applications.
  • Ensure compliance with critical regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support technology transformation.
  • Analyze and solve complex problems related to capital management.
  • Utilize advanced data technologies for improved analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in a techno-functional role, with at least 3 years as a Business Analyst/Functional Analyst.
  • Proficiency in SQL programming with experience in large databases.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or .Net.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in capital markets.
  • Understanding of regulations in capital markets, including Basel and CRD IV.
