Business Analyst – Plano, TX – Contract – $67-77 Per HR

The role involves business analysis and financial planning, requiring a strong command of data-driven decision-making. Located onsite, this contract position demands expertise in generic technology tools, focusing on optimizing business operations and promotions. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals.

Description

  • Conduct business planning and analysis to meet targets and close gaps.
  • Manage promotion planning and maintain documentation.
  • Perform cost analysis to ensure budget adherence for promotions.
  • Collaborate with vendors on promotional projects.
  • Support eCommerce sales with deal structures for customer negotiations.
  • Analyze P&L for promotions to drive growth.
  • Provide insights for optimization and document results and learnings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business performance to achieve targets.
  • Plan and document promotional activities.
  • Ensure budget compliance for promotions.
  • Coordinate with vendors for project execution.
  • Support sales agents with structured deals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 10 years of experience in business analysis or category management.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with eCommerce platform management.
  • Proficiency in generic spreadsheet software and data analysis.
