Data Engineer – Irving, TX – Contract – $50-60 Per HR

Description

Join a dynamic team focused on building platforms that enhance customer experiences across various channels. This role is based in a hybrid setting, combining remote work with onsite collaboration in the Southeastern United States. As a data engineer, you will design and manage data pipelines, ensuring data quality and compliance. Proficiency in SQL and a programming language like Python or Scala is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and operate scalable data pipelines for audience and personalization use cases.
  • Maintain data models and feeds for decision-making systems.
  • Implement data validation and monitoring to ensure accuracy.
  • Deliver governed data attributes to activation platforms with clear documentation.
  • Support privacy and compliance across data flows.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in data engineering.
  • Strong SQL skills and proficiency in a programming language like Python or Scala.
  • Experience with data lake/warehouse design and pipeline orchestration.
  • Knowledge of real-time data and event-driven architectures.
  • Understanding of data modeling, quality, governance, and change management.
