Engineering Level 4 – New York, NY – Contract – $64-74 Per HR

Description

A dynamic opportunity exists for a Senior Infrastructure and Security Architect in a remote, full-time contract role. This position focuses on designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge high-level security requirements with practical engineering solutions, ensuring robustness and resilience within multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement secure multi-cloud infrastructure across major cloud platforms.
Develop hybrid connectivity solutions linking on-premise and cloud systems.
Establish scalable identity and access management hierarchies.
Create disaster recovery topologies to eliminate single points of failure.
Collaborate with teams to migrate legacy workloads to the cloud.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and design within large-scale enterprises.
Hands-on production experience with at least two major cloud vendors.
Strong background in traditional networking and cloud-native constructs.
Advanced proficiency with automation toolsets.
Proficiency in scripting languages and Unix/Linux operating systems.
