Java Developer – Jersey City, NJ – Contract – $79-89 per HR

Join a dynamic team as a Java Developer in a hybrid role based in Jersey City, NJ. This contract position requires strong backend development skills and proficiency in modern technology stacks. You will work on enhancing UI/UX applications, integrating with data lakes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Description

Lead the design and implementation of key components in a market risk platform.
Communicate with product leads to improve technology solutions.
Develop scalable solutions for market risk computation and analysis.
Implement containerized deployments and integrate with cloud data platforms.
Optimize data processing pipelines for efficiency and speed.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop full-stack solutions with a focus on data volume optimization.
Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Ensure regulatory requirements are met in technology implementations.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
Work in an Agile environment for timely product delivery.

Qualifications

Expertise in core Java concepts, frameworks, and design patterns.
Experience with full-stack development and handling large data volumes.
Proficiency in cloud-native architecture and containerized deployments.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical directions.
8+ years of experience in backend development and distributed system design.
