Job Description

Network System Engineer – Richmond, VA – Contract – $70-75 Per HR

This role involves overseeing the operational stability of a data analysis platform in a hybrid setting. The candidate will work closely with security and operations teams to ensure seamless data flow and platform reliability. A strong background in system administration and data pipeline management is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end production support for a distributed data analysis environment.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of the platform supporting security use cases.
  • Lead incident response and service restoration efforts.
  • Enable security log ingestion and data normalization for security operations.
  • Administer data pipeline management tools for optimal data routing and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in administering large-scale data analysis environments.
  • Strong expertise in clustering, data storage, and search optimization.
  • Proven ability to manage production incidents and root cause analysis.
  • Experience in high availability production environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage technical stakeholders.
