Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Current registration and active license as a New York State Registered Nurse
Experience as a nursing care practitioner
Experience with substance abuse
CPR certification or completion during employment
Fluency in written and spoken English
Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred
Qualifications
Understanding of the needs of clients in treatment for HIV/AIDS and substance abuse
Ability to see, hear, and speak to clients
Experience in performance evaluations and staff training
Compliance with infection control, safety, and confidentiality guidelines
Experience in patient education and self-care management
Proficiency in electronic medical records documentation
Participation in program evaluation and quality improvement activities
