Description:
• Seeking an Outpatient Counselor with a focus on substance use and mental health in a full-time position Mon-Fri 08:30am-04:30pm located in Astoria, NY.
• The role involves leading individual and group counseling sessions and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Candidates must have a CASAC or CASAC-T certification.

Requirements:
• Full CASAC or CASAC-T certification required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in substance abuse treatment or a related field.
• Knowledge of counseling techniques and crisis intervention.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records.
• Commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality.

Qualifications:
• Full CASAC or CASAC T required
• High school diploma plus 1 years of experience in drug rehabilitation or a related service delivery system.
