Title: Senior Application Security Engineer

Location: Jacksonville, FL
Position Type: Contract – W2

Compensation
Pay Range:$49.98-$71.40 Per Hr

Description
The role involves working in Jacksonville, FL, focusing on application security within a contract setting. 
Responsibilities include designing and optimizing security capabilities, collaborating with various teams, and utilizing security testing technologies. 
Expertise in vulnerability management and secure development practices is essential.

Key Responsibilities
Administer and optimize application security platforms for testing capabilities.
Manage code analysis technologies, including configurations and reporting.
Integrate security testing into CI/CD pipelines with development teams.
Validate security findings and support remediation efforts.
Provide secure coding guidance and technical consultation.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
5+ years in cybersecurity, software engineering, or application security.
3+ years in application security scanning technologies.
Experience with configuring and reporting on security scanning tools.
Knowledge of modern application architectures and DevSecOps processes.
