Job Description

Senior Java – Rutherford, NJ – Contract – W2 or C2C – $97-107 Per HR

 

Description

  • Lead development efforts to establish and implement new application systems.
  • Build robust, high-performance, large-scale applications.
  • Utilize web technologies, REST APIs, and backend technologies.
  • Engage in Agile processes with a focus on test-driven development.
  • Operate with minimal supervision and lead a team of developers.
  • Experience in financial or banking sector preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage teams to accomplish goals and conduct personnel duties.
  • Provide strategic influence over resources, budget, and planning.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures and contribute to defining standards.
  • Integrate knowledge of applications development with technology functions.
  • Collaborate with product owners for requirements analysis and component design.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Java development.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise web applications and design patterns.
  • Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and database technologies.
  • Proficiency in development tools and environments.
